Winter season is coming, and with it we bring a surprise—a new University of Wisconsin-Oshkosh tradition!

I am excited to announce that on December 2nd at 4:30 p.m., we will light up the plaza dedicated to the memory of our dear Dr. Farouk Sankari, so students, faculty, staff, alumni and community members can gather, meet me, and share a moment of happiness together.

The plaza will be open to the public for the rest of the season as a place to take photos with friends and celebrate the importance of this time of the year with the community.
