If you’ve been watching your Facebook stream or local news in the last several days, you’ve no doubt seen a story or two about the massive, beautiful 6,400-square-foot UW-Oshkosh Titans wrap that now adorns the concrete berms at Kolf Sports Center off High Avenue.
No pun intended, but it’s a gamechanger. Pride is palpabale, and we owe so much of this project to the vision and investment of the Oshkosh Convention and Visitors Bureau and Art City Signs, the latter of which is owned by UWO alumnus Joshua Marquardt and his wife Carla.
We will give the Kolf wrap project and our partners a proper dedication and thanks at 10 a.m. on Thursday, Oct. 16. Until then, we certainly appreciate the bright spotlight regional media and our own storytellers have shone on the project.
