Compassionate Care for the Whole Student
Description
Higher education is and has always been inequitable. The Covid-19 pandemic has only further compounded these inequities with heightened disparities for students with disabilities, first generation students, and students of color. This session seeks to reimagine what a more equitable normal can be through compassionate care for the whole student. This session also maintains critical attention on how care work is essential to cultivating trust but has not been equitably rewarded.
