2019 OPID Spring Conference on Teaching & Learning Call for Conference Proposals

Faculty and instructional academic staff are encouraged to submit a proposal for the April OPID Conference:

The Joy of Teaching and Learning:
Intersecting Identities & Pedagogies
Thursday, April 11 & Friday, April 12, 2019
Memorial Union, Madison

Each spring, faculty and staff from nearly every UW institution gather to share experiences, knowledge, and scholarship of teaching and learning in Wisconsin. This year’s conference will be in Madison at the renovated Memorial Union overlooking Lake Mendota to consider The Joys of Teaching and Learning.

The keynote speaker will be Dr. Rosalyn La Pier is an award winning Indigenous writer and ethnobotanist with a BA in physics and PhD in environmental history. She studies the intersection of traditional ecological knowledge (TEK) learned from elders and the academic study of environmental history.
