1: Canvas Setup and Tools
2: Creating & Organizing Content in Canvas

Once those are complete, the rest of the mini-courses may be taken in any order.

You will be asked to choose the institution in which you are employed.  Then you will be asked to provide your NetID.

0: DLE Prep: What Can I do Now?

(Recommended Prerequisite)
In this mini-course, you will be looking at D2L rather than Canvas. This mini-course will focus on cleaning up your D2L courses in preparation for moving them to the new digital learning environment. In addition, we will walk you through the process of exporting your materials from D2L and importing them into Canvas.

1: Canvas Setup and Tools

In this mini-course will get you started with the Canvas learning environment and some commonly used Canvas terminology. Throughout this course, you will explore the global tools available in the system. In addition, you will have the opportunity to create personal account settings, modify notification settings and personalize the system, so it works best for you.

2: Creating and Organizing Content in Canvas

In this mini-course, you will continue exploring the digital learning environment and learning Canvas terminology. You will also begin exploring some of the course tools available in the system. This mini-course will focus on uploading files, creating pages and adding the content to the Modules tool.

3: Communicating and Collaborating in Canvas

In this mini-course, you will continue exploring the digital learning environment and learning Canvas terminology. You will also begin exploring some of the course tools available in the system. This mini-course will focus on adding people to your course, creating small groups, building discussion boards and creating collaborative documents.

4: Creating and Grading Assignments in Canvas

In this mini-course, you will continue exploring the digital learning environment and learning Canvas terminology. You will also begin exploring some of the course tools available in the system. This mini-course will focus on creating assignments, building rubrics and grading assessments.

5: Creating Quizzes and Question Banks in Canvas

In this mini-course, you will continue exploring the digital learning environment and learning Canvas terminology. You will also begin exploring some of the course tools available in the system. This mini-course will focus on creating quizzes, utilizing question banks and exploring quiz options.
