The Wisconsin Caregiver Training Project

The Wisconsin Caregiver Training Project is committed to providing high-quality, cost-effective education for caregivers, managers, and supervisors across various healthcare settings in Wisconsin. The training is designed for providers regulated by the Wisconsin Division of Quality Assurance (DQA). You can view a list of regulated providers here: DQA-regulated Providers.

We offer three main types of training opportunities:

  1. CCDET-led courses
Designed for staff in DQA-regulated settings, these courses help fulfill state and federal requirements.
These hands-on sessions are led by experienced CCDET staff, often with input from DQA subject matter experts.
  2. Ready-made curriculum
Providers can access over 40 hours of training topics, along with materials and trainer notes. These resources allow you to deliver training to your staff at no additional cost, at your own pace, and as time allows. Attend a Ready, Set, Train – Caregiver Continuing Education workshop to gain full access to training materials and enhance your caregiving staff’s skills while meeting regulatory requirements.
  3. On-Demand courses
Offer flexible online training that is available anytime, perfect for staff, residents, and family members.
