New Student & Retention Programs
As we move into the midpoint of the term, a reminder that 7-Week 2 Progress Reports will launch this Wednesday. These reports are an important opportunity to provide students with timely feedback and support as they work toward their academic goals.
In addition, we are still collecting data for our Faculty Survey on progress report practices. The purpose of this survey is to gather insights into current practices and identify effective strategies being used in classrooms. Your feedback will help us improve how we support faculty and students in the progress reporting process.
Center for Academic Resources (CAR)
We are starting recruitment of tutors for the spring 2026 semester. Please send an email to Sarah Uram urams@uwosh.edu to provide the names of the top 5 – 7 students in your class right now. She will reach out to those students personally. Your endorsement of these students will make a difference. Feel free to copy the students on your email to Sarah or talk to them personally to say that you’ve recommended them to tutor for the class. We will confirm qualifications pending final grades and overall cumulative grade point average.
