Drop-In Math Tutoring
About drop-in math tutoring:
Drop-in math tutoring is available in CAR in the Student Success Center, Suite 102.
Tutors are available who can assist students for multiple courses throughout the day during the Fall and Spring semesters (drop-in math tutoring is not available during Summer or Interim terms).
Course groupings include:
- Algebra, Trig and Pre-calculus – 104, 106, 108
- Calculus & Math for Business – 171, 172, 273, 126 & 206
- Math Education – 110, 211, 213
- Statistics – 109, 114, 201
- All stats students are welcome to utilize the math lab for assistance (Econ 210, Crim Just 281, Psych 203, and Soc 281)
Qualifications of drop-in math tutors:
Drop-in math tutors are students who:
- Have taken and done well in the courses they tutor
- Have been recommended by math instructors
- Have established and maintained a minimum cumulative 3.0 GPA at the UWO Oshkosh campus
- Have completed 4.0 hours of tutor training
