Syllabus Statements

REASONABLE ACCOMMODATIONS SYLLABUS STATEMENTS
Each course syllabus should include a statement about reasonable accommodations and services for students with disabilities. UW Oshkosh has not adopted a specific syllabus statement, however, the below statement might be used or modified and used as necessary.

SYLLABUS STATEMENT

At UW Oshkosh, we are dedicated to fostering an inclusive learning environment. The Center for Accessibility and Disability Resources (CADR) is here to assist students in creating and implementing appropriate accommodations. We also advocate for students if barriers to accessibility arise.

Both students and instructors share the responsibility of participating in the interactive process to develop a plan for implementing accommodations. Resources to guide this collaborative planning are available on our website. If you need an accommodation or are unsure if you do, contact CADR via the QR code below.

Even if you do not need an accommodation, your feedback on accessibility and allyship is invaluable in helping us create a more inclusive environment at UW Oshkosh.
