- BUS 700 Financial Reporting (1.5 cr.)
- ECON 704 Managerial Economics (1.5 cr.)
- One other course (of at least 1.5 credits) that is approved in the MBA program

Frequently Asked Questions
Is there be a time limit on completing courses for the certificate?
Yes, all coursework must be completed within four years to assure continuity.
Can transfer courses or undergraduate coursework be applied to the certificate?
No, undergraduate coursework will not count towards the certificate. All courses applied toward a certificate must be taken through UW-Oshkosh.
Is the GRE/GMAT required for a certificate?
No, the GRE/GMAT is not required to pursue a certificate.
Can I use financial aid to pay for my coursework?
Students pursuing a certificate are not eligible for financial aid. In order to be eligible for financial aid, students must be degree-seeking.
Do all of the certificate courses/9 credits count towards the MBA Program?
Yes, as long as the certificate courses and MBA courses are taken within a 7 year time frame. Extensions may be granted on a case-by-case basis for coursework taken after 7 years.
