The University of Wisconsin–Oshkosh School of Business requires students to compliment their academic studies with practical business experience. With professional internships, the internship program connects students to employers both domestic and abroad.

ETS Results
The ETS Major Field Test is given in the spring of every other year to our graduating seniors. The exam contains 120 multiple choice questions that cover a wide array of business areas. The scores below show how School of Business students did relative to 338 other business schools in various areas of the test.

CMA Exam Pass Rates
The CMA exam is recognized worldwide as a mark of excellence in the management accounting profession and covers broad business topics. Passing the CMA demonstrates substantial knowledge in such areas as financial planning, performance and analytics as well as strategic financial management. CPA Exam Pass Rates
UW–Oshkosh accounting students have proven themselves to be among the best in the country. In the 2024 NASBA Report, UW–Oshkosh ranked #3 in the nation among medium programs and #18 among all programs nationally for first-time CPA exam pass rates. These results place UW–Oshkosh alongside some of the most prestigious accounting programs in the United States, a testament to the dedication of our students and the strength of our faculty and curriculum. The rankings highlighted below specifically reflect the success metrics of our first-time test takers.
To become a licensed Certified Public Accountant (CPA), you must first pass the Uniform CPA Examination®. The CPA Exam consists of four, four-hour sections: Auditing and Attestation (AUD), Business Environment and Concepts (BEC), Financial Accounting and Reporting (FAR) and Regulation (REG).
