Medical Imaging: Radiologic Science
Radiologic Science Emphasis
This emphasis of the medical imaging major is for students desiring a career performing medical imaging using x-rays. The degree program involves 2-3 years of study at UW Oshkosh, which includes earning the Associate of Arts & Science degree, followed by competitive admission to a 2-year program of study at one of our affiliated clinical programs. A passing score on the ARRT’s national “Registry” exam completes both the RT(R) credential and the BS degree.

- Biology 211: Human Anatomy (4 cr.)
- Biology 212: Human Physiology (4 cr.)
- Kinesiology 170: Medical Terminology (1 cr.)
- Math 104: College Algebra (3 cr.)
- Math 106: Trigonometry (2 cr.)
- Math 201: Applied Statistics (3 cr.)
- Chemistry 101, 102, 105, 106 OR Physics 171, 172 (5 cr. each) – course selection depends on your emphasis
