Undergraduate Programs
Our students can earn one of three different bachelor’s degrees in biology: Bachelor of Arts (BA), Bachelor of Science (BS) or Bachelor of Science Education (BSE). The majority of our majors elect the BS degree.
We currently offer five majors and two minors, detailed below. To declare a major or minor, you must fill out a form in the Undergraduate Advising Resource Center which is located in the Student Success Center.

Minors:
Admission/Graduation Requirements
To be eligible for graduation, students must meet all requirements for the degree being sought in addition to earning a minimum grade point average of 2.00 in all courses required for the Biology, Environmental Health, Microbiology and Medical Imaging majors and the Biology or Microbiology minor. Students seeking Wisconsin teacher certification must earn a minimum grade point average of 3.00 in all courses required for their majors and minors in order to meet requirements of the College of Education and Human Services.
