ASO Event: Art and Activism

Join ArtsCore as we welcome UW Oshkosh Fox Cities Faculty, Judith Baker Waller and Teresa Hall as they provide a brief overview of their “Portal to a Future” exhibit, located in the Annex Gallery, Arts and Communication Building, that is a part of the larger project “Climate of the Mountain: Memories of the Past, Crises in the Present, Portal to a Future.” It will highlight how their work, in collaboration with students at Fox River Academy, incorporates themes of sustainability, memory, and a hopeful future. Participants will then have an opportunity to create their own piece of artwork on a global issue of their choice and explore how these concepts could be used in a classroom.
