In my spare time, I like to: SCUBA and snorkel, play with my daughter and dog, travel, explore zoos and aquaria, and hike or anything outdoors.
Favorite thing about the UARC: It’s a great group of student and professional advisors that share a common goal, assisting students in finding their passions while navigating the University and choosing an academic plan. We work hard and play hard together!
Advice: Find your purpose. Think about how your passions and skills over lap. How will you contribute to society? Don’t be afraid to ask questions more than once, read more than once and do things more than once!

Favorite thing about the UARC: No two days are the same! Each student coming in for advising has different concerns and goals. Our challenge is to help meet each student where they are and help them get where they wish to go.
Advice: Don’t be afraid of trying new things. But also keep up your hobbies and other interests while you are in college. You never know when the different parts of your life may intersect and give you new opportunities.

Favorite thing about the UARC: The support this office offers to students is an incredible service that they should take full advantage of. I love working with students and talking about the endless opportunities available to them while in school and once they are ready to graduate.
Advice: Don’t compare your college experience to someone else’s and have the mindset that there is only one way to “do college.” This is your experience and you have the chance to make it whatever you want it to be. Explore new things, meet new people and make the most of it while you can!
