I haven’t taken an English proficiency exam, can that be waived?

Students joining UW Oshkosh from a country that uses English as the official language will not need to submit proof of English proficiency. If a student’s secondary education was taught in English, a letter from the school stating this will satisfy this requirement.

However, if a student is from a country whose official language was not English and their secondary education was not taught in English, this is required and cannot be waived.
