International First-Year Application Procedures

Welcome Future Titan! It looks like you are planning to apply as a First-Year. A first-year applicant is one who plans on earning a college degree and is going to be attending college for the first time. Sound like you? Perfect, let’s get started!

Step 1: Complete the FREE application

The first step to applying to UW–Oshkosh is to complete your Universities of Wisconsin Application. You can do so by heading over to apply.wisconsin.edu (or clicking that big yellow button above) and clicking “Create an Account to Get Started.” It will start by asking for some information about yourself as well as some general questions to ensure that you are completing the correct application.

ACT and SAT scores are not required for admission.

We are currently accepting applications for the upcoming academic semester. Please see our ‘Frequently Asked Questions’ page for more information about application deadlines.

Step 2: Submit High School Transcripts (Unofficial or Official)

Once you complete and submit your Universities of Wisconsin application form, you will need to submit a copy of your high school transcripts or final examination scores. These can be official or unofficial transcripts. Documents can be emailed to applyworldwide@uwosh.edu or by mail to:

UW-Oshkosh Undergraduate Admissions
PO Box 2423
Oshkosh, WI 54903-2423

Transcripts must be submitted to UW-Oshkosh in the original language. All documents not in English must be accompanied by an official English translation. Visit NACES or ACIE to view accepted translators.

While unofficial transcripts can be used for the application, we will need official transcripts after you graduate. Final, official transcripts will need to be sent directly from your high school OR delivered in a sealed envelope when arriving to the United States in order to be fully enrolled in classes.

Step 3: Proof of English Proficiency

Submit proof of English proficiency. When you take your English proficiency test, be sure to indicate UW–Oshkosh as the school that you want your test results sent to. If they require a mailing address, you can use the same mailing address that you sent your transcripts to in Step 2.
