2002 was an unusual year for the programs; I was on the air for more hours than ever, but the number of new Christmas CDs was sharply down.  One result was that I played more selections from many CDs than I would have had time for in past years.  Another is that I played many CDs on more than one day.  Finally, I even had to go to my “vault” for CDs I’d played in past years (something I virtually never had done).

On these days I presented my first-ever simulcast from WLFM, the public radio station at Lawrence University in Appleton, WI. The signal was picked up and rebroadcast by WRST in Oshkosh on those days, providing wider geographical coverage than ever before.  Since listeners north of Appleton cannot receive WRST’s signal, on these days I played selections from CDs that I had played on WRST alone December 16-20.  These selections are shown following slashes in the listings above.  The following new CDs were featured on Sunday:
