The Sisterhood Organization is open to all women on campus that seek to improve their personal and professional goals while focusing on leadership and career development.
The Sisterhood organization is dedicated to outreaching and empowering young women with the guidance they need to become strong-willed, motivated and confident in themselves, their goals and their future. The Sisterhood organization focuses on the educational advancement of all students, while encouraging leadership development, political and domestic awareness and building a stronger alliance with other organizations on campus and in the community.
- To develop the capacity of student members with the organization and facilitate their role in the process of enhancing their self-esteem, self-determination, and confidence-building.
- To improve the level of communication within the campus community to build increased support for women's Issues.
- To develop good health practices needed to maintain a healthy balance between school commitments/activities and personal responsibilities.
- To promote social awareness of women's issues and help dismantle stereotypes of women and their role in education and society.
