Fall 2014 Schedule

Check out our preliminary Fall calendar! We are firming up some of the details yet but we have another great semester planned. Also, don't forget about our weekly events, such as our wellness program, and our support/discussion groups (including women's empowerment for female staff and faculty at UW Oshkosh, a domestic violence/intimate partner violence support group for female UW Oshkosh students, and a biweekly discussion group with female veterans on the Oshkosh campus and in the community).

What has launched both Purity Balls and porn? What defines a young woman’s morality–and has no medical definition? Welcome to the confounding world of How To Lose Your Virginity, a new documentary by Therese Shechter.

On Dec. 6, 1989 an enraged gunman wandered the corridors of Montreal's École Polytechnique and killed 14 women. Marc Lepine, separated the men from the women and before opening fire on the classroom of female engineering students he screamed, "I hate feminists."
