The Women’s Center, together with the Women’s Advocacy Council (WAC), is holding their annual open house in celebration of national Love Your Body Day. The National Organization for Women established Love Your Body Day as a way to bring national attention to the need to combat the negative stereotypes and images bombarding women of all ages and races every day.
In addition to fun activities which promote healthy self esteem, we will have a vendor fair comprised of local businesses or service providers who offer products and services which help to promote education, self sufficiency, independence and other means for women of all ages to take charge and take care.
This event is from 5 - 8pm, is free of charge, and open to everyone. We look forward to seeing you there!
