Employee Profiles:
Jennifer Castillo, Director BSW (UW Eau Claire), MS-Administrative Leadership (UW Milwaukee) Jennifer joined UW-Oshkosh as the Director of the Women's Center in July 2006. Jennifer has worked in higher education and nonprofit organzations in Appleton, Green Bay, Milwaukee, and Raleigh, North Carolina. Jennifer's interests and service have been in diversity education and community work. She is dedicated to promoting personal empowerment and social transformation, via educational services and activities, that will improve the quality of life for individuals that face additional obstacles to due to differences in gender, racioethnicity, age, and/or class as well as their surrounding communities. In addition to her work with the Women's Center, Jennifer enjoys spending time with her daughter, Imani, reading, teaching at UW-Milwaukee, and outdoor activities (when the weather's nice). |
Kimberly Olson, University Services Associate Kimberly is a UW-Oshkosh graduate, and is very happy to have made the transition from UWO student to UWO employee. After attending graduate school in Milwaukee, she returned to her alma mater in the fall of 2007. She greatly enjoys working with students, which makes her job all that much more rewarding. Outside of work, Kimberly enjoys traveling, as well as spending time with her husband, family, and friends. |
Intern Profiles:
Lisa Gutierrez (Fall 2009- Spring 2010) I’m entering my senior year at UW-O majoring in social work, with a minor in women’s studies. After graduation in May, I hope to find a job working with youth that have physical disabilities. I believe that has always been my calling as I have climbed the same mountains they will encounter. |
Hannah Hildebrandt (Fall 2009 - Spring 2010) My name is Hannah Hildebrandt and I am a senior at UWO majoring in Women's Studies and minoring in Sociology. After graduation in December I hope to work for a non-profit women's organization before attending graduate school. I enjoy thrift shopping, woody allen movies, tea and feminism. |
Erika Kiley (Fall 2009 - Spring 2010) Entering my senior year at UW-Oshkosh, I am majoring in Psychology with a minor in Biology. Currently, I also serve as Panhellenic Council President and am a proud member of Alpha Xi Delta. I pride myself in being able to volunteer on campus and in the community in numerous areas through my involvement in various organizations. After graduation, I plan to apply to be a Leadership Consultant and travel the country to assist other chapters of my sorority before attending graduate school. |
Marianne Radley (Fall 2009 - Spring 2010) My name is Marianne Radley and I am a graduate student pursuing my Masters in Higher Education Counseling through Lakeland College. I am a 2007 graduate of the University of Wisconsin Oshkosh with a Bachelors degree in Psychology and Women's Studies and am currently employed at Reach Counseling Services as a Sexual Assault Victim Advocate. |
Amanda Scripture (Fall 2009 - Spring 2010) Amanda has lived in the Fox Cities almost her entire life. She has attended UW Oshkosh since 2007 as a student in the Social Work program. Now a senior, Amanda hopes to continue her studies as a graduate student. Amanda's research has concentrated on school integration strategies and differences in child care providers. One such project won her the Clow Social Science award at the annual Celebration of Scholarship, 2009. In addition to her academic career, Amanda enjoys spending time with her two children, playing card games, listening to music and cooking for family and friends. |
