Letter from the Women's Center Director

I am incredibly excited to join the Center for Equity and Diversity at the University of Wisconsin Oshkosh as the Director of the Women's Center. To me, it's clear that a solid foundation has been created through the past work of the former directors, interim director, and program assistants. It is my goal to build upon that foundation and continue to grow the utility of the Women's Center for all people committed to working toward gender equity on and beyond the UW Oshkosh campus.

Eliza, the Women's Center Program Assistant, and I have been working diligently to create an exciting list of events and opportunities for engagement with the Women's Center during the 2016-2017 academic year. We will be releasing the Fall 2016 Program in a few weeks prior to the start of the academic year. Stay tuned for more details!

In the meantime, stop by the Women's Center and say hello between 12 and 4, Monday through Friday. The Center for Equity and Diversity is a pokestop, so if you are a Pokemon Go player, come accumulate some pokeballs and get a Trainer Kit, compliments of the Women's Center!

Alicia Johnson, PhD

Women's Center Director
