Letter from the Women's Center Director

We’re off to another semester of excellent programs and events at the Women’s Center.  Although my role as Interim Director of the Women’s Center is new, I’ve been involved with the center since I joined UW Oshkosh as a lecturer in the Philosophy Department in 2013.  I know that the Women’s Center has consistently brought excellent events to the campus community, and we will keep that up.

This semester, the Women’s Center is proud to be co-sponsoring with a variety of organizations on campus, including American Indian Student Services, Black Student Union, CARE, the Counseling Center, the LGBTQ Resource Center, Reeve Union Diversity and Inclusion Programs, the Sisterhood, the Women’s Advocacy Council, and more.

Interested in knowing what the Women’s Center can do for you?  Get in touch and let us know how we can support you.  The Women’s Center works to promote gender equity for students, faculty and staff, and the larger Oshkosh community.  I hope you’ll attend one of our many programs this semester, or just stop by the Women’s Center to say hello or have a cup of tea on a cold day.

Sommer Hodson, PhD

Women's Center Interim Director
