Professor Eichler-Levine developing two new courses
Professor Jodi Eichler-Levine, who teaches for the Women's Studies program and the Religious Studies department, was awarded a Faculty Development Teaching grant to develop a new WS cross-listed course, "Queering Religion." This course will explore how LGBTQ experiences might cause people to reconsider and reframe religious practices and texts. In addition, Professor Eicher-Levine was accepted to participate in the Winnebago Sustainabilty Project in order to develop a course called, "Judaism, Gender, and the Environment." The Women's Studies program is excited to be adding such interesting classes to its course offerings!
