Award-winning journalist Peggy Orenstein will be giving a presentation on the UWO campus about her new best-selling book, Cinderella Ate My Daughter: Dispatches from the Frontlines of the New Girlie-Girl Culture.

 

A follow-up to her New York Times column, “What’s Wrong with Cinderella?,” Orenstein’s book explores the “princess mania” that the current generation of young girls is immersed in and investigates whether it is harmful, harmless, or something else entirely.  Come join us for a thought-provoking, witty, and entertaining examination of this very important topic!
