Doug Flaherty Award
Professor Doug Flaherty was the first faculty advisor for the Wisconsin Review. In addition to his work advocating poetry at UW Oshkosh, Flaherty is active in grassroots poetry efforts, specifically with publishing co-op Wolf Angel Press. In honor of Professor Flaherty, the Wisconsin Review is proud to announce the first annual Doug Flaherty Award for Creative Writing students at UW Oshkosh!
It is designed to strengthen the relationship between Creative Writing course work at the University of Wisconsin Oshkosh and the assessment of writing by students at the Wisconsin Review.
The Wisconsin Review will only consider entries nominated by Creative Writing faculty at UW Oshkosh for the Doug Flaherty Award.
