December 12th Seminar at CESA 7

The 3rd WASAH Seminar is scheduled for Saturday, December 12th at the CESA 7 training room, located at 595 Baeten Road on the south side of Green Bay. The seminar will start at 9 a.m. and run until approximately 12:15 p.m. The first portion of the seminar will feature a discussion of the David Kennedy book "Freedom from Fear." The assigned reading for that discussion are Chs. 6-12 (pp. 160-380). A reading guide with study questions has been posted within the "2009-10 Workshop & Seminar Materials" Section of this Plone site. The second portion of the seminar will feature a presentation by UW Oshkosh historian Tom Rowland on how the Great Depression impacted the Oshkosh area. Dr. Rowland is the author of "Decade of Despair: Winnebago County during the Great Depression."
