The UW Oshkosh Women’s and Gender Studies program focuses on the study of women, gender, and sexuality, and their interactions with race, class, age, and ability. The program offers students the options of a major, a minor, and a certificate, as well as a LGBTQ Studies certificate.

Dr. Liz Cannon and Dr. Carmen Heider with students taking a Global Perspectives on Women course in Gender in Ecuador in 2020. Women’s and Gender Studies majors can choose to study abroad (WG STDS 399) or complete a Service Learning Field Study (WG STDS 366).
