1. Tell us something about yourself. Help us to get to know you. One paragraph.
I grew up in a small town with a population of about 100. Contrary to that, I love the city; everything the city offers excites me. I have five people in my family - my mom, stepdad, two brothers and myself. I went to Antigo High School, a town not far from where I grew up. I graduated top 25 percent of my class and won first attendant in prom and homecoming court. I love to socialize with everyone and love to make people laugh. I also love spending time with friends and family. I am very family-orientated and I absolutely need a social life.
2. What surprised you about your first semester?
The amount of work is what surprised me. You come in expecting work but it’s totally different than high school. You not only get more work, but you also have to do much more than simply look up an answer. It puts way more responsibilities on your part to get the work done.
3. What do you know now that you didn’t know before you attended UW Oshkosh? Tell us something specific you learned.
I learned that it is very hard to find spare time and harder than you think to keep a schedule when you take a large amount of credits and are involved in several organizations. Several times I planned on having spare time to do some tasks and in almost every situation I ran out of time.
