1. Tell us something about yourself. Help us to get to know you. One paragraph.
I am one of the most outgoing people you will ever meet, but sometimes that gets me in trouble by not being good at balancing my personal life with my professional life. Having said that I am very eager to learn and can not wait to be a UWO graduate.
2. What surprised you about your first semester?
What surprised me the most in my first semester was the amount of studying that the university life actually calls for. My parents have never attended a 4-year university, and I did not have a good idea about what the college life would be about. I got most of my information from friends and media, and they did not give me the full representation of all the hard work that goes into being successful in school.
3. What do you know now that you didn’t know before you attended UW Oshkosh? Tell us something specific you learned.
I learned that I have other interests academically than I thought. I really enjoyed my world religion class and learning about others and what they believe and why they act the way they do. Learning about other cultures will help you become a better person in society and lower stereotypes throughout the world.
