Armed Robbery
An incident of concern to students, staff and faculty recently
occurred near campus. The incident did not take place on campus or in
University Police jurisdiction. Due to the incidents relatively close
proximity to campus and in the interest of safety, with the belief that
an informed community is a safer community, we are notifying you of the
following incident.
On 04/15/10 at about 2 a.m., the Oshkosh Police Department responded
to a report of an armed robbery/home invasion at a residence in the 500
block of Scott Street. A handgun was displayed during the incident. The
suspects in this incident are described as black males. The suspects
fled on foot and remain at large.
The incident is currently under investigation by the Oshkosh Police
Department. Anyone with information about this robbery is asked to
contact the Oshkosh Police Department at (920) 236-5700
