Liaison Program

The UW Oshkosh Police Department offers community liaison services to the residence hall staff. The residence life officers interact with the community and attempt to improve the residence life experience by addressing "quality of life" issues. The liaison officers participate in hall functions, government meetings and other residence hall functions. This program has proven itself to be very successful in establishing relationships between the students, hall staff and police department.

The residence life liaison program provides an opportunity to address concerns in a problem-oriented policing atmosphere. The hall staff and liaison officers work as a team to exchange ideas and information in order to promote a healthy, safe residential environment.

Our residence life police liaison officers are Laura England , Kathy Kemp and Chris Tarmann. Officers England, Kemp and Tarmann are experienced liaison officers with the skills and training needed to promote a positive relationship between the police department and the community.

If you would like to participate in the police liaison program, please call (920) 424-1216 or e-mail one of the following officers.
