The program grants stipends of $3000 and a supplies budget of up to $550 to undergraduate students to work on a scholarly project in collaboration with a faculty member.  This work can be done either during the eight week summer term or spread over a whole academic year.

Submission Deadline for the upcoming cycle is February 11, 2014, before 4 p.m.

You should aim to have your proposal uploaded and submitted a day or two before this in case you have problems with the submission process.
To submit a proposal (Detailed help and instructions available at right.  See the link for Proposers):
  1. Make sure your proposal document is complete and preferably in Adobe .pdf format.
  2. Make sure you are logged in to the account of the primary faculty advisor.  The account name and password are the same as the advisor's campus e-mail.  The "Log in" link is near top of the white box at the right of this page.
  3. Once logged-in an "Add Proposal" link will appear above in a dark bar.  Click on this link.  If you are in your proposals folder you may also select "Proposal" from the "Add New..." menu in the dark bar.
  4. Fill in the required information and upload your proposal.
  5. Once you are sure that the information you filled out on the form is correct and you have the correct version of the proposal uploaded, click on the "Submit" button.
  6. If after carefully reading and following all instructions you are having trouble making a submission, please contact the grants site administrator.
