Breeze Live and Breeze Presentations

Breeze Presentations is intended for putting narrated PowerPoint presentations on the web. Sound is recorded directly into the Breeze plug-in. Any animations or timings are preserved. Sound and timings can be edited. The presentation is converted to a Flash file that will play back on any recent browser on Macintosh or Windows. File sizes are about a third of the original narrated PowerPoint. It's by far the most elegant and user friendly application for doing this that I've seen (except that it only works with PowerPoint on Windows). For a short sample see http://idea.uwosh.edu/nick/flash/index.html

Breeze Live is intended for web-based meetings. It is similar to WebEx or Placeware. Presenter video and audio (which can be rotated to any participant), desktop sharing, chat, whiteboard, and polling are available. Any browser, on Mac or Windows, can be used for presenting or participating. (presenter video only works on Windows)

Accounts are available to faculty and staff. There is no cost to the user.
