Scanning & Digital Imaging
This workshop will deal with using computerized pictures. Covers the basics of choosing resolution and color depth for various applications, resizing, improving exposure and color balance, retouching, scanning of flat copy and slides, digital cameras, video and screen capture, converting object oriented graphics for web use and advantages and disadvantages of various file formats. Conducted by Nick Dvoracek.

Audio Recording and Podcasting
We'll use the free open-source program Audacity to record and edit audio, mix multitrack projects, and export to the MP3 format. Also covered will be options for placing files on the web for download, and for recording in the classroom.
