In this session, we will trace the historic roots of the beliefs and identities that led to the adoption of the term "Two Spirit." We will shed light on the commonly mysterious or misunderstood aspects of this non-binary identity. We will explore how fluid gender roles and gender identities are/were sometimes held in sacred regard in tribal community settings.

In this joint presentation on renewable energies, Caramy Reisenauer, Electrical Engineering team leader for Faith Technologies, will talk about the new advanced microgrid technology she is developing, which will be installed at Bubolz Nature Preserve this fall. Brian Langolf, Biogas Systems and Research Development director at UWO, will talk about biogas initiatives on the UWO campus.

Join us for the 27th Annual 2017 Fox Valley Take Back The Night (TBTN), which involves partner agencies and citizens from throughout the Fox Valley standing up to violence. We use this night as part of our efforts to raise awareness, to spotlight allies, support survivors and remember those lost to violence. We also encourage all who join us to make ending domestic and sexual violence a lifelong commitment. Learn more.

Fox2O: A Water Quality Documentary

This short documentary highlights the history of the Fox-Wolf watershed and its impacts on the environment and economy. A panel discussion will follow the film with opportunities for the audience to address the filmmakers, scientists, and representatives from the community. Popcorn and drinks will be served.
