The Oshkosh Chamber of Commerce held its monthly Business After Hours networking event at the University of Wisconsin Oshkosh’s Sage Hall May 16.

Nearly 1,500 graduate, undergraduate and — for the first time ever — doctoral students became graduates of the University of Wisconsin Oshkosh May 12 at the 238th spring Commencement ceremonies.

University of Wisconsin Oshkosh Professional Counseling graduate students were recognized for their achievements at the department’s 2012 spring hooding ceremony on Friday, May 11.

The University of Wisconsin Oshkosh Class of 1962 was back on campus for the Commencement ceremony Saturday, May 12. The “Golden Titans” led the afternoon Commencement processional.

The 6 p.m., May 21 Harvey Milk Commemorative Dinner this year captures the spirit of hit TV show “Glee,” features area high school vocal ensembles and welcomes nationally-renown LGBTQ leader Shane Windmeyer, author on and advocate for gay and lesbian civil rights on college campuses.

The MBA Graduation Banquet was held Friday, May 11 and is a celebration of the 2012 graduates.

The Chief Officer Program is a collaborative initiative designed to provide officers with a broad perspective on various facets of fire and emergency services administration. The signing will take place at 4 p.m. on Thursday, May 17 on the UW Oshkosh campus in Reeve Memorial Union, room 201.
