UW Oshkosh football alumnus Jim Miazga will received the Russ Young Leadership & Achievement Award at the Feb. 18 Russ Young Awards Banquet in Oshkosh. Former Packer William Henderson is set as the keynote speaker.

The University of Wisconsin Oshkosh Alumni Association invites the campus community and friends of the University to its annual awards reception and dinner on Friday, Oct. 21, in Reeve Memorial Union, as part of Homecoming 2011.

University of Wisconsin Oshkosh students, faculty, staff and alumni will all be winners as they celebrate U Game? Homecoming 2011, set for the week of Oct. 16-22.

Three recent University of Wisconsin Oshkosh alumni will speak about their marketing careers and provide information and advice to current students regarding the transition from college to the marketing profession, during a “3 Under 30″ panel discussion 6-8 p.m., Oct. 11 at Pollock Alumni House.

“Strengthening Your Network,” a career webinar for University of Wisconsin Oshkosh alumni, will be held 7-8 p.m., Wednesday, May 4.

Students planning to take part in commencement ceremonies in December are invited to a free Almost Alumni Lunch on Tuesday, Dec. 7, sponsored by the University of Wisconsin Oshkosh Alumni Association and University Books & More.

Radio-TV-film alumni will return to the University of Wisconsin Oshkosh to talk to current students about careers in their field in conjunction with Homecoming 2010. At 10 a.m. Oct. 22, the industry panel “Bridging Industry With College” will feature four radio-TV-film alumni, who will share their career experiences; a networking reception will follow at 11:30 a.m. in the Arts and Communication Center’s broadcast studio.

Oshkosh bicyclists join the University of Wisconsin Oshkosh community in putting their pedal power to work, during the Tour de Titan 2 Bike Ride Saturday, Oct. 23, to promote bike safety in the city. This second-annual, nine-mile cruiser ride is a UW Oshkosh Titans Around the World 2010 Homecoming event, organized, in part, by the Oshkosh Cycling Club (OCC).

University of Wisconsin Oshkosh alumni are invited to share their time and talent to help make Titans Around the World Homecoming 2010 a success.

Writers and artists from a variety of genres will be featured at the University of Wisconsin Oshkosh’s Alumni Authors event 3 p.m. Friday, Oct. 22. The event, a collaboration between UW Oshkosh Alumni Relations and University Books & More, marks the start of the Homecoming 2010 weekend.
