For the 31st year running, the University of Wisconsin Oshkosh’s Department of Residence Life will host the Oshkosh Placement Exchange for those seeking employment in student housing, student activities, Greek life and other areas. The conference is scheduled for Feb. 25 to 28 at Gruenhagen Conference Center, 208 Osceola Ave.

In 2009, 172 colleges and universities from across the country sent representatives to UW Oshkosh to find candidates for vacant positions, and 589 candidates attended the conference.

This year, 150 institutions from 39 states will be represented, and 550 job seekers will attend.

“Once again, the Department of Residence Life is honored and privileged to welcome our Oshkosh Placement Exchange guests from throughout the United States for our major higher-education job placement event,” said Marc Nylen, Gruenhagen Conference Center director. “This is an event that has a long and rich history, and every year we look forward to welcoming our OPE guests back home to UW Oshkosh and the city of Oshkosh.”
