During the month of February, the Registrar’s Office conducted its second-annual “Pets Leave Paw Prints on Our Hearts” campaign to benefit the animals at the Oshkosh Area Humane Society (OAHS).

Through the generosity of caring individuals in many offices in Dempsey Hall and elsewhere on campus, the OAHS will  receive an abundance of needed items that were collected, including pet food, collars, treats, toys, bedding and cleaning supplies.

This was not a monetary fundraiser, although some cash was collected and used to purchase a few of the items from a list provided to us by the OAHS.  Participants in this drive were asked to choose a red paper heart stamped with paw prints and containing the name of an item listed on the OAHS’s wish list.

Beverly Flanigan, Registrar’s Office, submitted this announcement. Faculty, staff and students are encouraged to contribute calendar items, campus announcements and other good news to UW Oshkosh Today.
