The following Class Notes were received recently in the UW Oshkosh Alumni Office.

’43 June (Koch) Wester (EHS) is retired in Buena Vista, Ga., where she is still active playing piano and taking part in many activities. Before retirement, she had taught in Oshkosh, Illinois, Japan, Germany, New Jersey and Georgia. 6-19-08.

’71 Don Flanigan (EHS) retired after a 37-year career at Omro Middle School, where he taught U.S. history and social studies to seventh- and eighth-graders. 6-19-08.

’85 Timothy Downey (N) of Appleton was ordained a deacon May 17 at St. Francis Xavier Cathedral in Green Bay. 6-19-08.

’85 Ty Raddant (B) was named one of two Shawano Optimist Club Officers of the Year by the Shawano police department. 6-19-08.

’89 Michael Martinsen (MSE) will be the new principal of St. Patrick’s Catholic School in Janesville this fall. 6-19-08.

’93 Dianne (Conway) Hesselbein (LS) defeated a 16-year incumbent in April to serve on the Dane County Board of Supervisors. 6-19-08.

’97 Todd Irvine (LS) is a high school counselor for Oconomowoc High School and the head coach for the boys’ track team. 6-19-08.

’97 Catherine (Rogowski) Seifert (EHS) of Milwaukee and her husband, Mark, welcomed a son, Jacob Robert, on May 17. 6-19-08.

’03 Omar Humadi (LS) worked as Hillary Clinton’s presidential campaign as regional field director in Rochester, N.H., before joining the Ohio Democratic Party as ethnic outreach caucus director. 6-19-08.

’03 Jason Kemp (LS) has accepted a promotion to Social Security disability case manager with ING USFS-Employee Benefits in Minneapolis. 6-19-08.

’05 Logan Flora (LS) will join the coaching staff of the men’s basketball team at the University of Wisconsin-Superior. 6-19-08.

’07 Victoria Wippich (EHS) will teach a third grade class in Little Chute this fall. 6-19-08.

’08 Ashley Schuh (EHS) will teach English and serve as co-cheerleading coach at Little Chute High School. 6-19-08.
