Flags will be flown at half-staff at the University of Wisconsin Oshkosh from sunrise to sunset on Wednesday, March 2, 2011, as a mark of respect for 1st Lt. Daren M. Hidalgo of the U.S. Army, who lost his life while serving his country during Operation Enduring Freedom in Afghanistan. Gov. Scott Walker has directed that all U.S. and Wisconsin flags be flown at half-staff at all state buildings, grounds and military installations until sunset on that date.
