Michael Tomczyk ’70, will host the 13th annual Emerging Technologies Update Day, entitled “Turning Science Fiction Into Science Reality” at Wharton School on Feb. 25.
Tomczyk recently led the Innovation Panel at the Wharton Aerospace Conference. He is known as a technology pioneer and innovation champion, listed in Wikipedia as a computer pioneer. Tomczyk recently authored a book chapter on bionanotechnology in “Biomedical Nanotechnology: Methods and Protocols” (Springer, 2011). For 16 years he has served as Managing Director of the Mack Center for Technological Innovation at the Wharton School.
