Kathy Cartwright, ’85, will be among the featured performers at the Oshkosh Choraliers concert May 3 at the Alberta Kimball Auditorium in Oshkosh.

The show, titled Singin’, Swingin’ and Rockin’ with a Twist, begins at 7:30 p.m.

Cartwright will share several pieces from her recently-recorded CD, titled Reaching!, which she cut last summer in Nashville.

Cartwright is not the only UW Oshkosh alum in the choir’s roster. This Saturday’s concert will feature more than a dozen UW Oshkosh alumni, said vice president Sarah Anderson, ’03 and MBA ’08.

Anderson said the performance, under the direction of Mary Backus, will bring “a wisp of Hairspray and the emotion of Wicked.”

The choir meets weekly from January through May on Monday evenings from 6:30 to 8:30 p.m. Saturday’s concert marks the end of the group’s 2008 season.

“The choir is open to anyone age 18 or older,” Anderson said.

Guest artists also will include the Oshkosh First English Lutheran Church Handbell Choir, directed by Choraliers’ accompanist Todd Repp.

Tickets for Saturday’s show are $6 each, and children 12 and under are admitted at no charge. More information, including photos of the last performance, can be found at www.oshkoshchoraliers.org. Or contact Sarah Anderson at (920) 235-6139 or sairabee@yahoo.com.
