Throughout the month of January, University of Wisconsin Oshkosh Titan fans will have a chance at all Titan home athletic events to purchase Miracle Balloons in support of the Children’s Miracle Network. The fund-raising efforts kick off Saturday, Jan. 8, when the Titans wrestling team takes the mat at Kolf Sports Center.

Each Miracle balloon is $1 and will be available throughout the month for those that can’t make it out to an event in the athletic department offices during normal business hours of 8 a.m. – 4:30 p.m.

January will feature two promotional games highlighted with activities and giveaways for all kids in attendance. UW Oshkosh will host its annual Take a Kid to the Game Day Jan. 15, when the Titans hold a basketball doubleheader against the UW Stout Blue Devils. The UWO men’s team will tip off at 4 p.m. with the women following at 6 p.m. at Kolf. All Kids in attendance during the promotional games will receive a FREE ticket with the purchase of an adult ticket.

The Titans and the Oshkosh Northwestern also have partnered for Community Day on Jan. 22. The doubleheader basketball game will kick off with the men at 1 p.m., followed by the women at 3 p.m.

Children’s Miracle Network is a non-profit organization dedicated to saving and improving the lives of children by raising funds for children’s hospitals. The 170 Children’s Miracle Network hospitals provide the finest medical care, pediatric research and preventative education to help millions of children overcome diseases and injuries of every kind.
