On April 25, the University of Wisconsin Oshkosh will participate in the National Day of Silence to protest the discrimination, harassment and abuse faced by lesbian, gay, bisexual and transgender faculty, staff and students.

The Day of Silence will be held from 8 a.m. to 3 p.m. across campus, with an hour of silence set aside from 11:30 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. at designated tables in Reeve Memorial Union, 748 Algoma Blvd.

Free buttons, T-shirts and cards will be available from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. April 24 in the Reeve Concourse or by contacting the Rainbow Alliance for HOPE at hope@uwosh.edu.
