Students planning to take part in commencement ceremonies in December are invited to a free Almost Alumni Lunch on Tuesday, Dec. 7, sponsored by the University of Wisconsin Oshkosh Alumni Association and University Books & More.

The lunch will take place from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. at Pollock Alumni House, located on campus across from Albee Hall.

“We are pleased to host this event in honor of our newest alumni,” said UWO Alumni Director Chris Gantner. “We want these new grads to understand that they have an opportunity to maintain a lifelong connection with their alma mater and that the Alumni Relations Office is dedicated to helping them stay informed and engaged via communication, events, and services.”

At the lunch, students can grab a quick sandwich and discover the perks available to them as future alumni. They also can register to win an alumni sweatshirt or a diploma frame courtesy of University Books & More.

Students who preregister for the event by e-mailing alumni@uwosh.edu will receive a free gift when they arrive. Others can  just drop by on the day of the event as their schedules allow.
