UW Oshkosh has been selected to host a four-team regional of the NCAA Division III Men’s Soccer Championship on Friday, Nov. 12 and Saturday, Nov. 13 at J. J. Keller Field at Titan Stadium.

The NCAA extended invitations for its 2010 Division III postseason tournament on to 60 schools, with 41 receiving automatic berths.  UW Oshkosh received one of the 19 invitations.

UW Oshkosh’s appearance in this year’s NCAA Division III Championship begins Friday when the Titans (16-0-3) host Carroll University (12-6-1) in a 5 p.m. match. That contest will be followed by a 7:30 p.m. game between Hope College (Mich.) (13-5-2) and North Park University (Ill.) (12-4-2).

The championship match of the regional will be held Saturday at 6:30 p.m. with the winner advancing to a four-team sectional tournament on Nov. 19 to 21.

UW Oshkosh is making its 12th appearance (1991, 1993-96, 1999-2003, 2007, 2010) in the NCAA Division III Championship, with Final Four visits in 1994, 2000 and 2003. The Titans advanced to the third round in 2007.

Messiah College (Pa.) is the two-time defending national champion.

Ticket prices are $8 for adults, $6 for senior citizens and $4 for students.
