During the demolition of Clemans Hall at the University of Wisconsin Oshkosh, workers recovered the residence hall’s time capsule that was placed in the cornerstone in 1960 by the students and staff of Oshkosh State College.
The University Archives has put a sample of these documents on display on its web site in its latest “mini exhibit,” A Small Box of History. The documents and newspaper clippings featured can each be “flipped” over for information on what the item tells us about life at OSC during the late 1960s, a time of great expansion at OSC.
