To combat student perceptions that on-campus events are as fun as 8 a.m. lectures, the Student Leadership Involvement Center at the University of Wisconsin Oshkosh is hosting its second Titan Nights event April 4 from 9 p.m. to 2 a.m. in Reeve Memorial Union.

Titan Nights activities will include airbrush tattoos, bingo, cake decorating, crazy crafts, midnight breakfast, an obstacle course and Old Time photographs. Featured events include a drag show from 10:45 p.m. to midnight and the movie “Cloverfield” from 9:30 p.m. to 12:30 a.m.

All of the Titan Nights activities are free for UW Oshkosh students who present a Titan Card, and each student is allowed to bring one non-student guest for a $1 admission.

The first-ever SLIC-sponsored Titan Nights event on March 8 proved to be very popular with students on campus said Reeve employee and UW Oshkosh student Brittany Dorfner.

“I really liked that the entire event was free,” Dorfner said. “The events they had were really good and you could tell that the event was well-planned because it provided activities that students would really enjoy.”
